| Day 1 : Kathgodam to Lohajung

Our journey begins with an early morning arrival in Kathgodam. You'll be greeted with a pickup from the Kathgodam Bus Stand or Railway Station, provided in a Tata Sumo or a similar vehicle. The drive from Kathgodam to Lohajung spans a distance of 225 kilometers and is expected to take approximately 9 hours, factoring in a few short breaks during the journey.
By late afternoon, we'll reach Lohajung, where we'll proceed to check into a guesthouse for an overnight stay.

| Day 2 : Lohajung to Bekaltal

Following breakfast, our trek commences. Along the route, you'll be treated to breathtaking vistas of the majestic Nandaghunti Peak. The trek primarily takes place within the enchanting woodland of Oak and Fir trees. The journey to Bekaltal covers a distance of 8 kilometers and typically spans 4 to 5 hours.
For the night, we'll set up camp and enjoy an overnight stay in tents.

| Day 3 : Bekaltal to Khabekhal (or Brahmtal)

In the winter season, this trek is blanketed in a pristine layer of snow. The journey to Bhramtaal typically spans 3 to 4 hours.
The path winds its way through a dense forest, leading you to a location known as Telindi Top. From this vantage point, you'll be treated to awe-inspiring views of the formidable Himalayan ranges, with peaks soaring beyond 7000 meters in elevation.
A brief stroll from this spot will bring you to the serene Khabekhal Lake.

| Day 4 : Khabekhal to Bhramtaal to Daldum

In the morning, following a hearty breakfast, we embark on our ascent towards Bhramtaal.
From Khabekhal, our trail leads us through Chota Jhandidar and Bada Jhandidar en route to Brahmatal Top. This path winds along a mountain ridge with valleys on either side. Anticipate a journey of approximately 2.5 hours to reach the summit of Brahmatal.
During this leg of the trek, be sure to keep an eye out to your right for the splendid Himalayan ranges, particularly the prominent Mt. Trishul, which stands in close proximity along with Nandaghunti. If fortune smiles upon us and the skies are clear, we may be treated to a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Himalayan range from this trail.
Following our descent from Brahmatal Peak, we'll make our way to the next campsite, Daldum. This leg of the journey is estimated to take around 3 hours to complete. The distance from Khabekhal Campsite to Daldum Campsite spans approximately 2.7 kilometers, and the trail leads us through a lush forest.

| Day 5 : Brahmtal to Lohajung
|
|
We will retrace our steps along the familiar trail back to Lohajung, following the same route.
Upon our return, we will once again stay in the guesthouse for the night.

| Day 6 : Lohajung to Kathgodam
|
|
Our journey draws to a close as we set out for Kathgodam early in the morning, bringing an end to this thrilling expedition to Brahmtal Lake.
If you wish to savor the picturesque charm of Lohajung a bit longer, you have the option to take a day off and venture on a self-guided local sightseeing excursion.
