| Day 1 : Dehradun to Sankri

Today marks the commencement of the thrilling Kedarkantha Trek expedition. Our journey kicks off in Dehradun, where we'll embark on a picturesque 210-kilometer drive to reach Sankri, beginning at the early hour of 6:30 AM. This long but captivating journey promises a plethora of scenic delights, with the next nine hours dedicated to capturing stunning vistas. Throughout the drive, you'll be treated to the alluring sights of Garhwal, navigating the winding roads and encountering the charming locales of Mussoorie and Barko. Upon our arrival in Sankri village, we will set up camp in this quaint village, nestled approximately 13 kilometers deep within the pristine Govind National Park.

| Day 2 : Trek from Sankri to Juda ka Talaab

At last, we have arrived at the starting point of our trek, which takes us from Sankri to the enchanting Juda ka Talaab, nestled at an elevation of 9100 feet. Our trek will kick off early in the morning, preceded by essential warm-up exercises to facilitate proper acclimatization. Along the trekking route, the charming village of Sankri will serve as a source of inspiration, and the pond surrounded by the serene beauty of pine and oak trees will provide the backdrop for our overnight stay.

| Day 3 : Trek from Juda ka Talaab to Kedarkantha Base

The Kedarkantha Trek organizer has dedicated this day to an exciting journey from Juda ka Taalab to the Kedarkantha Base. Juda ka Taalab, a captivating lake cocooned by a dense pine forest, transforms into a mesmerizing playground during the winter months when it freezes over. This icy wonderland provides a perfect backdrop for various fun activities, including strolling on the frozen surface and relishing the slopes. To enhance your experience, the Kedarkantha Trek organizer will provide a guide to impart essential trekking skills for navigating the slopes and making larger strides.
After a scenic 4-kilometer trek spanning approximately 2 hours, we will reach our ultimate destination—the Kedarkantha base camp, perched at an elevation of 11,250 feet. The natural beauty of this location is exceptionally promising, allowing you to set up camp amidst the enchanting pine and oak trees. Lying on the meadows, gazing at the starry night sky, will work wonders in relieving the fatigue accumulated during our trekking adventure.

| Day 4 : Trek to Kedarkantha Summit and Descend to Juda ka Talaab

Today promises an even more exhilarating adventure compared to yesterday, as we embark on a lengthy trek to conquer the Kedarkantha peak. Brace yourself, as this ascent is sure to present a formidable challenge due to its steep and demanding nature. Slowly but steadily, you will make your way through the dense forest, gradually ascending towards the majestic Kedarkantha peak.
Along this remarkable journey, you will be treated to breathtaking views of mountain valleys, sprawling ranges, and the evergreen pine trees. The ethereal beauty of feathery clouds gracing the skies will leave you in awe. The grandeur of the Dhauladhar range, Chainsheel Pass, Har ki Dun valley, and Rupin valley is simply a sight to behold. Not to mention the captivating landmarks like Swargarohini, Black Peak, and Bandarpoonch that dot this trekking route. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to admire other prominent peaks, including Gangotri, Yamunotri, Jorkanden, and Draupadi ka Danda.
Upon reaching the summit, you'll have the chance to take a well-deserved break, soaking in the breathtaking surroundings. After a few hours of rest and exploration along the way, we'll prepare for the descent back to Juda ka Talab, where we'll spend the night in our campsite. The descent will lead us down from an impressive altitude of 3,850 meters, ensuring a fulfilling and memorable day of adventure and natural beauty.

| Day 5 : Trek from Juda ka Talaab back to Sankri, Drive to Dehradun.

As our adventure draws to a close, it's time to embark on our trek from Juda ka Talab back to Sankri. During this homeward journey, you'll be treated to awe-inspiring views of the majestic Himalayan range, adorned with glistening snow-clad peaks. The trek takes on a new level of enchantment as the sun gradually ascends behind the towering pine trees, casting its golden rays upon the meadows, filling the landscape with a warm and pleasant glow. This presents a prime opportunity to capture more photographs, particularly showcasing the scenic beauty of Har ki Doon and its picturesque meadows.
As the final day of the Kedarkantha Trek package, it may evoke a sense of nostalgia and sentimentality. Take a moment to ensure all your belongings are packed and organized as we prepare to bid farewell to this remarkable journey. After this introspective moment, we will commence our drive from Sankri back to Dehradun, bringing this memorable adventure to a close.
